Solid Wood Worktops

Choosing solid wood worktops will offer you durability and a classic look that will become the focal point in your kitchen. From light oaks to dark chocolate brown / blacks in the walnut each wood species will give differing shades, markings, and overall effect.

Solid wood worktops will also bring the benefit of being able to maintain the surface over the years. Many materials will eventually fade over time but with solid wood, a sand and re-polish will bring them back to their original natural beauty.

Granite Worktops

Granite is a natural rock which is usually cut to shape in its native state then polished to use in the home; with regular cleaning maintenance to prevent staining, this surface will provide a lifetime of service with practical durability.

On the plus side, it is is a strong material that is difficult to scratch and will resist temperature changes.

Colour choice can be restrictive due to the material being a natural stone; and, with each piece being different, the design will need to be planned around the slab chosen.

Laminate Worktops

Constructed of several sturdy layers, Laminate surfaces are a high-performance option with a slim profile. Solid laminate worktops are incredibly practical as they are completely waterproof, resistant to a high level of heat and durable against abrasion and impact.

Widely used for worktops, laminae is available in a full range of colours, thicknesses, patterns etc.

Quartz Worktops

A Quartz work-surface is created from one of the hardest minerals in the Earth. Small amounts of glass or metallic flecks combined with the quartz produces a range of colours and effects.

The result is beautiful worktops from a non-porous material, its’ texture does not allow bacteria to grow and it will resist against stains, making clean-ups easy.

As well as the durability and performance advantages, choosing a Quartz worktop will cost effectively bring character to your kitchen – opening up a wide variety of eye-catching colour options ranging from natural colours such as whites, blacks and browns to other tones such as gold, blue etc.
